New to importing from China?
The words suppliers use, in plain English.
- EXW (Ex Works)
- The price covers the goods at the factory only. You (or we) arrange everything from pickup onwards.
- FOB (Free On Board)
- The supplier delivers the goods onto the ship at the Chinese port. Freight, insurance and import costs are extra.
- CIF
- Goods plus sea freight and insurance to your port. Import clearance, duties and local delivery are still yours.
- DDP (Delivered Duty Paid)
- Everything included to your door: freight, customs clearance, duties and taxes. The simplest option for first-time buyers.
- LCL vs FCL
- LCL means sharing a container and paying by volume (CBM) — good below about 15 CBM. FCL is a whole 20ft or 40ft container.
- Chargeable weight
- Air and express are charged on the greater of actual weight and volume weight (L × W × H in cm ÷ 6000 for air, ÷ 5000 for express).

Frequently asked questions
Is there a minimum order or shipment size?
No fixed minimum. Small shipments can go by express or be consolidated with other cargo (LCL), so you only pay for the space you use.
Can you deliver door to door with duties included?
Yes. For many countries we offer DDP (Delivered Duty Paid): we handle export, freight, import clearance, duties and final delivery for one all-in price.
I found a supplier on Alibaba. Can you work with them?
Yes. Send us the supplier's contact or product link. We can verify the supplier, inspect the goods, collect them and ship to you.
How do I pay?
Bank transfer (T/T) is standard. Payment terms are confirmed in your written quotation before anything ships.
How long does shipping take?
Typical door-to-door times: express 3–7 days, air freight 5–10 days, sea freight 20–45 days depending on the destination port and customs. Your quote shows the estimate for your route.
Is my cargo insured?
Cargo insurance is available for every shipment and recommended for valuable goods. Ask us to include it in your quote.
Who pays import duties and taxes?
With DDP pricing, duties and taxes are included. With other terms (EXW, FOB, CIF), the buyer pays them on arrival — we can estimate them for you in advance.
